Happy Sport is a collection of women's watches from the Swiss watch and jewellery house Chopard, introduced in 1993. It was conceived by Caroline Scheufele: she took the moving diamonds that the brand first showed in 1976 in the Happy Diamonds line and placed them in a sporty stainless steel case on a comfortable bracelet. Combining steel and diamonds in one watch made the Happy Sport a symbol of sporty-elegant style.
The key feature is the dial set between two sapphire crystals. Diamonds in gold settings move freely in the gap between them: the stones are not fixed to the dial but float above it and shift as the wrist moves. The watches are also recognisable by their Roman numerals and jewellery accents — sapphire cabochons on the crown and lugs. Themed models apply the same idea to small figures: alongside or instead of the stones, fish move under the crystal in the Happy Fish, a sun in the Happy Sun, and butterflies over a sky-blue dial.
Within the collection, watches are chosen by case size and shape, metal and movement. Jewellery versions have a diamond-set bezel. The watches are worn on a steel or gold bracelet or on an alligator leather strap.
Each product page lists the reference, case size and material, dial colour, calibre, water resistance, condition and what is included.
