ABOUT BRAND

Cartier was founded in Paris in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier and grew into one of the best-known jewellers in the world under his grandsons Louis, Pierre and Jacques. Its watchmaking history includes the Santos, created in 1904 for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont and one of the first wristwatches designed for men, and the Tank of 1917. The panther, used as a motif since the early 20th century, remains a signature of the house.

The Panthère de Cartier watch, with its flexible bracelet, is offered in mini, small and medium sizes in steel, gold and with diamond settings. Other key lines include the Santos, Tank, Ballon Bleu and Pasha, together with Cartier jewellery such as the Love and Juste un Clou bracelets, and writing instruments.
