Ressence

Ressence is a Belgian watch brand founded in 2010 by the industrial designer Benoît Mintiens and based in Antwerp. Its watches have no conventional hands: the time is shown by discs that rotate on a single convex surface, and the watches have no crown, being set and wound through the caseback. Some models have dials sealed in oil, which makes the display look as if it is printed on the crystal.

The TYPE 1 is the brand's core automatic model, available in round and squared cases and in a range of dial colours.
