Bovet traces its history to 1822, when Édouard Bovet of Fleurier began supplying richly decorated pocket watches to China. The modern company, owned by Pascal Raffy since 2001, has its own movement and dial workshops in Switzerland and is known for engraving, miniature painting and complicated movements.
Its signature is the Amadeo convertible case, which allows a watch to be worn on the wrist, used as a pocket watch or set up as a table clock. Collections include Amadeo Fleurier, Récital and Virtuoso, with tourbillons and long power reserves among the specialities. The range here also includes Bovet accessories such as watch winders and phone cases.
