Pasha is a collection of round watches from the French house of Cartier. Its roots go back to a commission from the 1930s, and the look of the production Pasha was drawn in 1985 by Gérald Genta. The line is recognisable by its geometry: a square ‘railway’ minute track is set within the round case, usually with Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9. The crown is covered by a screw-down cap on a chain, often with a blue cabochon.
In 2020 Cartier updated the collection as Pasha de Cartier, and the new generation keeps the earlier geometry and the crown cap. Pasha watches from different years include classic models in steel and yellow gold with white dials and a date, among them a big-date version on a blue leather strap; the Pasha Seatimer diver's watch; the gem-set Pasha Grille Diamonds; and the Pasha de Cartier Perpetual Calendar with perpetual calendar and moon phase. The new generation includes the Pasha de Cartier 41mm chronograph with a grey dial and the limited Pasha Automatic Green Dial Limited Edition 200 Pcs with a green guilloché dial and Eastern Arabic numerals.
When choosing a Pasha, look at the case material, movement and size: steel or yellow gold, automatic or quartz, bracelet or leather strap. Men's and women's models, case size and functions (chronograph, perpetual calendar, date) can be selected with the filters.
