The Chopard Happy Sport 36 mm steel (ref. 278559-3025) is a ladies' jewellery watch with a 36 mm round case in stainless steel. It has a pink dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre CO 984 with a power reserve of up to 42 hours. Features: Floating diamonds, guilloché dial, roman numerals, transparent caseback, sapphire-set crown. Water-resistant to 30 m. The watch is fitted with a Happy Sport Steel Bracelet with a folding clasp in steel.

This example is brand new, and comes with the original box and papers.

In-house automatic caliber Chopard 09.01-C was developed by the Swiss brand specifically for ladies' mechanical models. It has a 42-hour power reserve and a balance frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour.

ABOUT BRAND

Chopard was founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard in Sonvilier, in the Swiss Jura, and has been owned by the Scheufele family since 1963. Now based in Geneva, it makes both jewellery and watches, with its own L.U.C movements produced in Fleurier since the late 1990s. Its best-known invention is Happy Diamonds, in which loose diamonds move freely between two sapphire crystals.

That idea runs through Happy Sport watches and Happy Hearts jewellery. Other lines include the Imperiale, the Alpine Eagle sports watch, the Mille Miglia and Grand Prix de Monaco Historique chronographs linked to motor racing, and L.U.C dress watches.
