Chopard Grand Prix de Monaco

ABOUT COLLECTION

Grand Prix de Monaco Historique is a racing-inspired line of Chopard wristwatches. It takes its name from the historic car race in Monaco, and details of the case and dial refer to the parts and instruments of vintage racing cars. Together with Chopard Mille Miglia, the line belongs to the brand's Classic Racing family.

It is recognisable by its details: the chronograph pushers are styled as engine pistons, the crown as a steering wheel, and the chronograph bezel carries a tachymeter scale. The main case material is titanium; the bezel and caseback can be steel, and there are versions with rose gold.

Within the line the choice is by function and material: a chronograph with date or a model with a power-reserve indicator, pure titanium or titanium combined with gold. One example is the men's Monaco Grandprix Historique Chronograph: a chronograph with date in a 40 mm titanium case with dark PVD coating.
