Jubilée 1755 is an anniversary line of Vacheron Constantin wristwatches. The Swiss manufacture presented it in 2005 for its 250th anniversary; the number in the name is the year the brand was founded. These are classic dress watches with a calendar and a power reserve indicator, produced in a limited series.
The line is built on the in-house self-winding calibre 2475, bearing the Geneva Seal (Poinçon de Genève). It has 264 components and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, with a hand-engraved 22 ct gold rotor and a transparent caseback.
The defining feature of the series is its hand-guilloché dial, with a pattern created specially for the brand's 250th anniversary. The day and date sub-dials are placed symmetrically, with a fan-shaped power reserve indicator below. The calendar is shown by hands rather than apertures, so the guilloché is left uninterrupted. The case lugs echo the Maltese cross, Vacheron Constantin's emblem.
Cases were made in yellow, rose and white gold and in platinum. Within the series, watches are chosen primarily by case metal and dial shade. For pre-owned pieces, condition and completeness also matter, as the box and papers have not always been kept.
The collection includes the Patrimony The Jubilée 1755 in yellow gold, reference 85250/000J, with a silver dial, applied markers and gold Roman numerals. It is listed with the Patrimony prefix, while the classic Vacheron Constantin Patrimony line has its own page. Each listing gives the calibre, case size, power reserve, condition and what is included.
