Rolex Oyster Perpetual

ABOUT COLLECTION

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual takes its name from two of the brand's inventions: the waterproof Oyster case, introduced in 1926, and the Perpetual self-winding mechanism, whose rotor winds the mainspring with the movement of the wrist. The watches in this line have neither date nor chronograph — the dial shows the time alone.

The main choices are case size, dial and movement generation: the selection includes watches from the 2020s with calibres 3230 and 2232 as well as earlier models. Both current and earlier calibres carry the Superlative Chronometer certification, and for the 3230 the listings also state an accuracy of −2/+2 seconds a day. Each listing gives the condition, what is included, the reference and calibre, and in most cases the year of production.
