The Datograph was launched by A. Lange & Söhne in 1999 as a manually wound flyback chronograph with a precisely jumping minute counter and Lange's outsize date. It is regarded as one of the reference chronographs of modern watchmaking.
The Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon, presented in 2016 in a 950 platinum case, combines the chronograph with a perpetual calendar and a tourbillon.
