Zenith Rainbow

Zenith Rainbow is a 1990s line, best known for its chronographs on the high-frequency El Primero calibre, made by the Le Locle manufacture. Its distinguishing detail is the multicoloured chronograph minute counter.

This is an instrument rather than a dress watch: a high-contrast dial, a rotating bezel and measuring scales printed on the dial. The version offered here has a flyback function and calibre El Primero 405, which Zenith developed in the late 1990s to a specification from the French Ministry of Defence for military aviation.

When choosing a Rainbow, consider whether you need the flyback and assess the condition of the individual piece. The collection includes the El Primero Rainbow, reference 02.0480.405, with a black dial, Arabic numerals and date.
