Defy Xtreme is a sports line in the Defy family from the Swiss manufacture Zenith: massive tool watches built to withstand heavy use. It is easily confused with Defy Extreme — the names differ by a single letter, but they are separate series, each with its own page.
All the versions offered are men's watches with titanium cases, sapphire crystals, self-winding movements and bracelets. They differ in calibre and functions. The Defy Xtreme is a chronograph with power reserve indicator on calibre El Primero 4021 SX, with an aperture in the dial revealing the balance. The Defy Xtreme Chronograph El Primero is a chronograph with date, its case featuring rose gold elements. The Defy Xtreme Open El Primero Tourbillon on calibre El Primero 4035 SX combines chronograph, tourbillon and date, with the movement and tourbillon carriage visible through the open dial. The Defy Xtreme Power Reserve Sea does without a chronograph: its in-house calibre Elite 685 shows the date and power reserve.
Three questions help you choose. First, do you need a chronograph? If not, that leaves the Power Reserve Sea. Second, which case size suits your wrist: 43 mm for the Power Reserve Sea, 46.5 mm for the other models. Third, which finish do you prefer: black PVD-coated titanium, carbon inserts, or yellow and rose gold accents?
The reference, condition and what is included are given in each listing.
