Blancpain Ladybird

ABOUT COLLECTION

Ladybird is Blancpain's ladies' collection. The name goes back to 1956, when Blancpain introduced a Ladybird watch powered by one of the smallest round mechanical movements made at the time, a notable achievement for a women's watch in that period.

Today's Ladybird models keep small round cases, usually in gold or steel, with mechanical movements and dials in mother-of-pearl or lacquer. Many versions have diamond-set bezels, cases or dials, and some add complications such as a moon phase.
