The Cartier Santos Large Steel Skeleton (ref. WHSA0028) is a men's everyday watch with a 39.8 mm square case in stainless steel. It has a blue dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre 9611 MC with a power reserve of 42 hours. Features: QuickSwitch quick strap change system, smartLink bracelet adjustment system, gradient dial, crown set with blue spinel. Water-resistant to 100 m. The watch is fitted with a Santos steel bracelet with a folding clasp in steel.

Self-winding in-house caliber 1847 MC runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a soft-iron anti-magnetic shield.

Cartier was founded in Paris in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier and grew into one of the best-known jewellers in the world under his grandsons Louis, Pierre and Jacques. Its watchmaking history includes the Santos, created in 1904 for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont and one of the first wristwatches designed for men, and the Tank of 1917. The panther, used as a motif since the early 20th century, remains a signature of the house.
