The Patek Philippe World Time Enamel White Gold (ref. 5131G-010) is a men's dress watch with a 39.5 mm round case in white gold. It has a blue and multicolour dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre 240 HU with a power reserve of 48 hours. Functions: World time. Water-resistant to 30 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a folding clasp in white gold.
This example is pre-owned and in good condition, and comes with the original box.
Base caliber 240 was developed in 1977 and is distinguished by its built-in 22-carat gold micro-rotor. The HU version adds a world time module while keeping the total thickness to just 3.88 mm.

Patek Philippe was founded in Geneva in 1839 by Antoine Norbert de Patek and François Czapek; the watchmaker Adrien Philippe joined Patek in 1845, and the firm took its current name in 1851. Still independent and family-owned, the manufacture is known for hand-finished movements and for complications such as perpetual calendars, minute repeaters and astronomical displays.
