The Patek Philippe Gondolo (ref. 5124g-001) is a dress watch with a 33.4 mm rectangular case in white gold. It has a champagne dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by a hand-wound mechanical movement. Features: Small seconds, transparent caseback, art Deco case, shaped calibre. Water-resistant to 30 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a pin buckle in 18k white gold.
This example is pre-owned and in good condition.
The hand-wound 25-21 REC PS shaped caliber was developed specifically for the rectangular cases of the Gondolo series. It has a Gyromax balance and bears the Patek Philippe Seal.

Patek Philippe was founded in Geneva in 1839 by Antoine Norbert de Patek and François Czapek; the watchmaker Adrien Philippe joined Patek in 1845, and the firm took its current name in 1851. Still independent and family-owned, the manufacture is known for hand-finished movements and for complications such as perpetual calendars, minute repeaters and astronomical displays.
Key collections include the Calatrava, the classic round dress watch; the Nautilus, the steel sports watch designed by Gérald Genta in 1976; the Aquanaut; and the Grand Complications, which include models such as the Sky Moon Celestial. Ladies' watches, the Golden Ellipse and the Gondolo are also part of the catalogue.
