The Patek Philippe Calatrava Pilot Travel Time (ref. 5524R-001) is a men's pilot's watch with a 42 mm round case in rose gold. It has a brown dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre 324 S C FUS with a power reserve of 45 hours. Functions: Second time zone, date. Water-resistant to 60 m. The watch is fitted with a calfskin strap with a classic buckle in rose gold.
In-house caliber 324 S C FUS has a patented second time zone mechanism that adjusts local time in one-hour steps with two pushers. A silicon Spiromax hairspring and a Gyromax balance provide high accuracy and resistance to magnetism.

Patek Philippe was founded in Geneva in 1839 by Antoine Norbert de Patek and François Czapek; the watchmaker Adrien Philippe joined Patek in 1845, and the firm took its current name in 1851. Still independent and family-owned, the manufacture is known for hand-finished movements and for complications such as perpetual calendars, minute repeaters and astronomical displays.
Key collections include the Calatrava, the classic round dress watch; the Nautilus, the steel sports watch designed by Gérald Genta in 1976; the Aquanaut; and the Grand Complications, which include models such as the Sky Moon Celestial. Ladies' watches, the Golden Ellipse and the Gondolo are also part of the catalogue.
