The Audemars Piguet Millenary 4101 (ref. 15350OR.OO.D093CR.01) is a men's watch with a 47 mm oval case in rose gold. It has a black and silver dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement. Features: Off-centre dial, visible balance, small seconds, transparent caseback, roman numerals. Water-resistant to 20 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a folding clasp in 18k rose gold.

This example is brand new, and comes with the original box and papers.

In-house caliber 4101 is designed with the balance and escapement inverted and moved to the dial side. The movement was created specifically for the oval Millenary case.

ABOUT BRAND

Audemars Piguet was founded in 1875 in Le Brassus, in the Vallée de Joux, by Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet, and is still owned by the founding families. The house built its reputation on complicated watches and, in 1972, launched the Royal Oak, designed by Gérald Genta: a steel sports watch with an octagonal bezel held by eight visible screws, a "Tapisserie" dial and an integrated bracelet.

The Royal Oak family dominates the range: the classic Royal Oak in steel, gold, titanium and ceramic, the slim "Jumbo" Extra-Thin, openworked and skeleton versions, perpetual calendars and tourbillon chronographs. The larger, sportier Royal Oak Offshore followed in 1993, alongside the Royal Oak Concept and the round Code 11.59 collection introduced in 2019.
