Louis Moinet Vertuis

ABOUT COLLECTION

Louis Moinet Vertuis is a line from Louis Moinet, the brand named after the watchmaker Louis Moinet, who created the chronograph in 1816. Vertuis is built around a sculpted case with a massive bezel secured by six screws and a crown guard. The dial is multi-layered: guilloché sits alongside exposed movement components and applied markers, giving it depth while keeping it legible.

The line is represented by the Tourbillon Vertalis, reference LM-14.44.50: a men's watch in rose gold with a black dial, Côtes du Jura guilloché, a tourbillon aperture at 6 o'clock and a power reserve indicator at the top.

Vertuis is produced in small series, so the choice is less about the model than about the individual piece: its condition, any professional polishing and the completeness of the set. Other Louis Moinet lines are Derrick, Metropolis and Twintech.
