Franck Muller Galet

Galet is a line from the Swiss brand Franck Muller built around a single shape: galet is French for a smooth pebble. The gently rounded case, with no sharp edges, flows into the lugs, and the caseback follows the curve of the wrist, so the watch sits close on the arm.

The line includes men's and women's versions, automatic and quartz, in 18-carat rose gold, white gold and stainless steel. Some women's models have a diamond-set bezel. Dials feature lacquered sunburst guilloché with Roman or the brand's large Arabic numerals. It is easiest to choose in order: movement first, then metal, dial and stones.

One example is the women's Galet White Gold and Diamonds 34mm: white gold, a 34 mm case, a double row of diamonds on the bezel, a silvered dial with spiral guilloché, Roman numerals and blued hands, and a black leather strap with a white gold buckle.
