Czapek Faubourg de Cracovie

Faubourg de Cracovie is a collection of men's chronographs from the independent Swiss brand Czapek. The line combines a classic look with sporty ergonomics: a smooth profile with no protruding parts and high-frequency mechanics.

The chronograph pushers are built into the crown guard, so nothing on the side catches on a cuff. Inside is the automatic SXH3 calibre, built by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier specifically for Czapek. It runs at 5 Hz, or 36,000 vibrations per hour, has a column wheel and vertical clutch, and a 65-hour power reserve. The movement can be seen through the transparent caseback.

The models have a 41.5 mm steel case with chronograph and date under sapphire crystal, with satin-brushed surfaces alternating with polished ones. So the choice comes down to the dial. The Faubourg de Cracovie King Salmon has a champagne dial with ‘Ricochet’ guilloché by Metalem and blued hands. The Faubourg de Cracovie Purple Panda has a purple guilloché dial with contrasting silver ‘panda’ sub-dials and is a limited edition of 18 pieces.
