The Zenith Pilot Type 20 Extra Special (ref. 29.2430.679/21.C753) is a men's pilot's watch with a 45 mm round case in bronze. It has a black dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement. Features: Large onion crown, luminescent Arabic numerals, engraved titanium caseback, matte bronze case. Water-resistant to 100 m. The watch is fitted with a leather strap with a classic buckle in titanium.

This example is brand new, and comes with the original box and papers.

The in-house Elite 679 caliber is based on the Elite series and beats at 28,800 vph. The movement consists of 126 parts, has a central rotor on ball bearings and a 50-hour power reserve.

Zenith was founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle, in the Swiss Jura, and is one of the oldest integrated manufactures in Switzerland. Its most famous achievement is the El Primero, presented in 1969 as one of the first automatic chronograph movements and running at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour.
