The Zenith El Primero Chronomaster Open (ref. 51.2160.4047/01.C713) is a men's dress watch with a 45 mm round case in rose gold and stainless steel. It has a silver dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement. Functions: Chronograph, moon phases, date. Water-resistant to 50 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a folding clasp in stainless steel.

The high-frequency El Primero chronograph beats at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz) for precise timing. Caliber 4047 has 332 parts, a silicon escape wheel and lever, and an integrated moon and sun phase display with a big date.

Zenith was founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle, in the Swiss Jura, and is one of the oldest integrated manufactures in Switzerland. Its most famous achievement is the El Primero, presented in 1969 as one of the first automatic chronograph movements and running at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour.
The El Primero calibre powers the Chronomaster collection, including the Chronomaster Sport and open-dial versions. The Defy line covers modern designs, from the Defy Skyline with its integrated bracelet to the Defy 21 and Defy Extreme chronographs that measure to a hundredth of a second. Zenith also produces Pilot and Elite watches.
