The Breguet Watches Type XX Aeronavale (ref. 3800st/92/9w6) is a pilot's watch with a 39.5 mm round case in stainless steel. It has a black dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement. Features: Flyback function, luminescent markers and hands, rotating bezel, fluted caseband. Water-resistant to 100 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a folding clasp in stainless steel.

This example is unworn, and comes with the original box and papers.

The Breguet 582 caliber is based on the historic Lemania 1350 and has a flyback function, created to order for the French Air Force and Navy.

ABOUT BRAND

Breguet was founded in Paris in 1775 by Abraham-Louis Breguet, one of the most influential watchmakers in history. He is credited with the tourbillon, patented in 1801, as well as the Breguet overcoil and the self-winding perpétuelle watch. Many of the house's design codes, such as Breguet hands, hand-turned guilloché dials and fluted case bands, go back to his workshop. The manufacture is now in the Vallée de Joux and belongs to the Swatch Group.

Collections include the Classique, the Marine, the Type XX aviation chronographs, the Tradition with its open-worked movements, the Héritage and the Reine de Naples for women, as well as complications ranging from tourbillons to alarm and calendar watches.
