Urwerk, the Swiss watch company known for avant-garde design and inventive movements, created the UR-100V Magic T.

Satellite time display. The most striking feature of the UR-100V Magic T is its satellite display. Three rotating satellites, each carrying a numeral, show the hours, in a three-dimensional layout inspired by the Solar System.

Titanium case and leather strap. The case is titanium, light and scratch-resistant, on a leather strap.

Self-winding movement. The UR-100V Magic T has an automatic movement, so it needs no manual winding in everyday wear.

The in-house UR 12.01 caliber is self-winding, with a profiled rotor regulated by a flat-bladed Windfäng fan. This system reduces wear and prevents overwinding during sharp wrist movements.

Urwerk was founded in Geneva in 1997 by watchmaker Felix Baumgartner and designer Martin Frei. The brand is known for its wandering-hour and satellite-hour displays, in which rotating hour numerals travel along a minute track, and for futuristic case designs in titanium and other technical materials.

Collections include the UR-100 and UR-102 series, the UR-200 family with models such as the UR-210, and the EMC (Electro-Mechanical Control) watches, which let the wearer monitor the movement's precision. Many references are produced in limited editions.
