The Rolex Deepsea 44 mm Steel (ref. 136660-0004) is a men's dive watch with a 44 mm round case in stainless steel and titanium. It has a black dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre Rolex 3235 with a power reserve of 70 hours. Functions: Date. Water-resistant to 3900 m. The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet with an Oysterlock in steel.
This example is brand new, and comes with the original box and papers.
The in-house Rolex 3235 caliber has a Chronergy escapement in nickel-phosphorus alloy and a Parachrom hairspring. The movement has a 70-hour power reserve and is certified as a Superlative Chronometer.

Rolex was founded in London in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred Davis, registered the Rolex name in 1908 and moved to Geneva after the First World War.
