The Panerai Radiomir 8 Days 45 mm (ref. PAM00992) is a men's dress watch with a 45 mm barrel case in stainless steel. It has a black dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by the hand-wound mechanical calibre P.5000 calibre. Features: Sandwich dial, blued hands, small seconds sub-dial, transparent caseback, 8-day power reserve. Water-resistant to 100 m. The watch is fitted with a Scamosciato leather strap with a classic buckle in steel.

This example is in perfect condition, and comes with the original box and papers.

The in-house hand-wound P.5000 caliber has two barrels connected in series providing 8 days (192 hours) of autonomy. Two sturdy plates cover most of the gear train, giving high mechanical reliability.

ABOUT BRAND

Panerai was founded in Florence in 1860 by Giovanni Panerai as a watch shop and workshop. In the twentieth century the firm supplied precision instruments and diving watches to the Italian Navy, developing luminous Radium dials and, later, the crown-protecting bridge that defines the Luminor case. The brand has been based in Neuchâtel since its relaunch in the late 1990s.

The two core families are the Luminor, including the Luminor Marina and Luminor 1950 models, and the Radiomir, with its cushion case and wire lugs. The Submersible divers and the Luminor Due complete the range, alongside models with multi-day power reserves such as 3 Days and 8 Days, and earlier special editions such as the Ferrari series.
