The Perrelet Turbine XL (ref. A1051/11) is a men's watch with a 48 mm round case in PVD/DLC-coated steel and stainless steel. It has a black and gold dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre P-331 with a power reserve of 42 hours. Features: Rotating turbine rotor, luminescent hands, transparent caseback, PVD coating. Water-resistant to 50 m. The watch is fitted with a rubber strap with a classic buckle in PVD-coated steel.

This example is brand new, and comes with the original box and papers.

The P-331 movement is based on an in-house architecture from Soprod, part of the Festina Group. It uses a patented double rotor concept in which an oscillating element on the dial side turns with the movements of the wrist.

ABOUT BRAND

Perrelet takes its name from Abraham-Louis Perrelet, an 18th-century watchmaker from Le Locle who is credited with one of the first self-winding mechanisms. The modern brand, based in Switzerland, continues this theme with automatic watches in which the movement of the rotor is visible, notably the Double Rotor with a second rotor on the dial and the Turbine with a rotating blade display.

The range includes the Turbine sports models, the classic Rectangle Royale and ladies' watches such as the Diamond Flower, where a rotor in the form of a flower turns on the dial and is set with diamonds.
