The Panerai Ferrari Scuderia Chronograph (ref. fer00008) is a sports watch with a 45 mm barrel case in stainless steel. It has a black dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement. Features: Tachymeter scale, luminescent coating, COSC certification, screw-down crown. Water-resistant to 100 m. The watch is fitted with a leather strap with a folding clasp in steel.
This example is brand new.
Caliber OP XII is based on a proven self-winding chronograph, runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is officially COSC-certified.

Panerai was founded in Florence in 1860 by Giovanni Panerai as a watch shop and workshop. In the twentieth century the firm supplied precision instruments and diving watches to the Italian Navy, developing luminous Radium dials and, later, the crown-protecting bridge that defines the Luminor case. The brand has been based in Neuchâtel since its relaunch in the late 1990s.
The two core families are the Luminor, including the Luminor Marina and Luminor 1950 models, and the Radiomir, with its cushion case and wire lugs. The Submersible divers and the Luminor Due complete the range, alongside models with multi-day power reserves such as 3 Days and 8 Days, and earlier special editions such as the Ferrari series.
