The Glashutte Original Senator Excellence Panorama Date 40 mm (ref. 1-36-03-01-02-71) is a men's dress watch with a 40 mm round case in stainless steel. It has a silver dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre 36-03. Functions: Date. Water-resistant to 50 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a folding clasp in steel.
This example is in perfect condition, dated 2022, and comes with the original box and papers.
Automatic caliber 39-50 was developed and made at the manufacture in Saxony. It has a three-quarter plate, swan-neck fine regulation and a rotor with a heavy 21-carat gold segment.

Glashütte Original is based in Glashütte, Saxony, the centre of German watchmaking since 1845. The brand took its current form in 1994 as the successor to the town's watch manufactures and has been part of the Swatch Group since 2000. Its watches are known for Saxon finishing, three-quarter plates and the off-centre “Panorama” layout of dials.
