The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Apollo 17 45th Anniversary Gene Cernan (ref. 311.63.42.30.03.001) is a men's sports watch with a 42 mm round case in yellow gold. It has a blue dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by a hand-wound mechanical movement. Functions: Chronograph. Water-resistant to 50 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a folding clasp in yellow gold.
This example is pre-owned and in good condition, and comes with the original box and papers.
The hand-wound Omega 3861 mechanical caliber has a co-axial escapement and a Si14 silicon balance spring. It is certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS and withstands magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.
