The F.P. Journe Octa Chronograph Platinum & Rutenium (ref. R-OC PT 40 D RU) is a men's watch with a 38 mm round case in rose gold. It has a gold and white dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre 1300 with a power reserve of 120 hours. Functions: Chronograph, flyback chronograph, date. Water-resistant to 30 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a classic buckle in rose gold.

This example is pre-owned and in good condition, and comes with the original box.

Automatic caliber 1300 is made of 18-carat rose gold. It runs for 120 hours from a single barrel and has a unidirectional 22-carat gold winding rotor.

ABOUT BRAND

F.P. Journe was founded in Geneva in 1999 by François-Paul Journe, a watchmaker trained in Paris. The brand produces a small number of watches each year with movements in rose gold, and is known for its research into chronometry, including the Tourbillon Souverain with a constant-force remontoire and the Chronomètre à Résonance.

Collections include the Souveraine line (Tourbillon Souverain, Chronomètre Souverain), the Octa models with large date and UTC indications, the Élégante with its electro-mechanical movement and Titalyt cases, and the sporty Linesport, which includes the Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante. Many references are produced in platinum or as limited editions.
