The MB&F M.A.D.1 RED is a watch with a 42 mm round case in stainless steel. It has a black and red dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement with a power reserve of 60 hours. Features: Three-blade rotor on the dial side, side cylindrical time display, crown at 12 o'clock, super-LumiNova luminescent elements. Water-resistant to 30 m. The watch is fitted with a leather and textile strap with a folding clasp in steel.

This example is brand new, dated 2022, and comes with the original box and papers.

The base movement was turned upside down to bring the winding rotor to the dial side. The three-blade rotor is made of titanium and tungsten and coated with Super-LumiNova.

ABOUT BRAND

MB&F (Maximilian Büsser & Friends) was founded in Geneva in 2005 by Maximilian Büsser. It works as a creative laboratory, developing each watch with independent watchmakers, engineers and designers, and is known for sculptural three-dimensional cases and movements.

The range is split into Horological Machines, which take unconventional forms inspired by cars, aircraft and science fiction, and Legacy Machines, which reinterpret 19th-century watchmaking with a large floating balance above the dial. The M.A.D.1 models, with a rotating time display on the side of the case, and collaborations such as the Bvlgari Serpenti also appear.
