The Louis Moinet Spiroscope (ref. LM-12.10.50) is a men's dress watch with a 45 mm round case in stainless steel. It has a black dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement. Features: Open balance, guilloché dial, luminescent markers, transparent caseback. Water-resistant to 30 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a folding clasp in steel.
This example is pre-owned and in good condition, and comes with the original papers.
An automatic caliber beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with an open balance visible on the dial. The design gives a highly stable rate and lets you watch the escapement at work.

Louis Moinet was founded in 2004 by Jean-Marie Schaller and is based in Saint-Blaise, Switzerland. The brand is named after Louis Moinet (1768–1853), a French watchmaker and teacher who created an early chronograph-type instrument for astronomical use in 1816. It is known for small series and unique pieces with animated displays and dials made from meteorites and other rare materials.
The range includes animated models such as the Mecanograph and the Derrick pieces with a moving oil-derrick mechanism, the Spiroscope with its rotating guilloché dial pattern, and tourbillons such as the Vertalis. Most pieces are produced in very limited numbers.
