The Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon 8 (ref. HCOMDT51WW002) is a men's watch with a 51 mm round case in white gold. It has a black and grey dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by the hand-wound mechanical calibre HW4503 with a power reserve of 55 hours. Features: Twin bi-axial tourbillon, spherical differential, disc time display, anti-reflective coating, transparent caseback. Water-resistant to 30 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a folding clasp in white gold.

This example is brand new, and comes with the original box and papers.

The in-house HW4503 caliber consists of 482 parts and has two bi-axial tourbillons linked by a spherical differential. Each carriage makes a full turn on its outer axis in 75 seconds and on its inner axis in 45 seconds.

Harry Winston is a jewellery house founded in New York in 1932 by Harry Winston, famous for handling some of the best-known diamonds of the twentieth century, including the Hope Diamond, which he donated to the Smithsonian Institution. Its watches are made in Geneva, and the company has been part of the Swatch Group since 2013.

The watch range combines high jewellery and complications: the Opus and Histoire de Tourbillon series of experimental movements, the Project Z sports watches in the brand's own Zalium alloy, the Ocean and Midnight lines, and gem-set ladies' models such as Avenue and Emerald. The house also makes high-jewellery pieces in diamonds and coloured stones.
