The F.P. Journe Rose Gold 40 mm (ref. Souveraine Chronomètre) is a men's dress watch with a 40 mm round case in rose gold. It has a silver dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by the hand-wound mechanical calibre 1304 with a power reserve of up to 56 hours. Functions: Power reserve indicator. Water-resistant to 30 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a pin buckle in 18k rose gold.
This example is pre-owned and in good condition, and comes with the original papers.
In-house caliber 1304 in 18k pink gold is hand-wound and has two barrels connected in series for an even release of energy.

F.P. Journe was founded in Geneva in 1999 by François-Paul Journe, a watchmaker trained in Paris. The brand produces a small number of watches each year with movements in rose gold, and is known for its research into chronometry, including the Tourbillon Souverain with a constant-force remontoire and the Chronomètre à Résonance.
Collections include the Souveraine line (Tourbillon Souverain, Chronomètre Souverain), the Octa models with large date and UTC indications, the Élégante with its electro-mechanical movement and Titalyt cases, and the sporty Linesport, which includes the Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante. Many references are produced in platinum or as limited editions.
