The F.P. Journe 40 mm Calibre 1300.3 (ref. Octa Automatique Reserve) is a men's dress watch with a 40 mm round case in rose gold. It has a silver dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre 1300.3 with a power reserve of up to 120 hours. Functions: Power reserve indicator, date. Water-resistant to 30 m. The watch is fitted with a leather strap with a classic buckle in rose gold.
This example is brand new, and comes with the original box and papers.
Caliber 1300.3 is made of 18-carat rose gold. It has unidirectional self-winding and runs for 120 hours from a single barrel.

F.P. Journe was founded in Geneva in 1999 by François-Paul Journe, a watchmaker trained in Paris. The brand produces a small number of watches each year with movements in rose gold, and is known for its research into chronometry, including the Tourbillon Souverain with a constant-force remontoire and the Chronomètre à Résonance.
Collections include the Souveraine line (Tourbillon Souverain, Chronomètre Souverain), the Octa models with large date and UTC indications, the Élégante with its electro-mechanical movement and Titalyt cases, and the sporty Linesport, which includes the Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante. Many references are produced in platinum or as limited editions.
