The F.P. Journe Élégante Titalyt is a ladies' watch with a 35 mm barrel case in titanium. It has a white dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by the quartz calibre 1210 Quartz: 32'768 Hz. Features: Titalyt-treated titanium case, motion sensor on the dial, energy-saving standby mode, small seconds, luminescent dial coating. Water-resistant to 30 m. The watch is fitted with an Elegante strap with a folding clasp in titanium.

This example is brand new, and comes with the original box and papers.

The innovative quartz caliber 1210 took the manufacture 8 years to develop. It has a dedicated microprocessor and a motion sensor that enables a smart power-saving mode.

CONDITION

Brand new. Plasma electrolytic oxidation of the titanium improves its hardness and resistance to wear and corrosion. Case size 40 x 35 mm. The brand's craftsmen spent 8 years of research developing this revolutionary watchmaking concept with extremely precise requirements. After 35 minutes without movement, the watch enters standby mode to save energy and the hands stop. In standby, a microprocessor developed specifically for this watch keeps counting time. When the motion sensor visible on the dial at 4:30 is activated, the movement automatically sets the correct time, the hands taking the shortest route, clockwise or anticlockwise. The watch lets you stop time and start it again, the ultimate dream of every watchmaker.

ABOUT BRAND

F.P. Journe was founded in Geneva in 1999 by François-Paul Journe, a watchmaker trained in Paris. The brand produces a small number of watches each year with movements in rose gold, and is known for its research into chronometry, including the Tourbillon Souverain with a constant-force remontoire and the Chronomètre à Résonance.

Collections include the Souveraine line (Tourbillon Souverain, Chronomètre Souverain), the Octa models with large date and UTC indications, the Élégante with its electro-mechanical movement and Titalyt cases, and the sporty Linesport, which includes the Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante. Many references are produced in platinum or as limited editions.
