The Czapek & Cie: Antarctique Rattrapante Ice Blue is a men's sports watch with a 42.5 mm barrel case in stainless steel. It has a grey and skeletonized dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre SHX6. Functions: Split chronograph. Water-resistant to 100 m. The watch is fitted with an Antarctique bracelet with a folding clasp in steel.
This example is brand new, and comes with the original box and papers.
Caliber SHX6 was made by the Czapek manufacture together with the Chronode workshop. It places the split-seconds mechanism, with two column wheels and a pincer brake, on the dial side.

Czapek & Cie is a Geneva brand revived in 2015, taking its name from François Czapek, a Polish-born watchmaker who worked in Geneva in the nineteenth century and was an early partner of Antoine Norbert de Patek. The modern company produces independent-style watches in small series.
Its best-known line is the Antarctique, a sports watch with an integrated bracelet, offered in time-only and chronograph versions and in editions such as Passage de Drake and La Carte des Nuages. The brand also makes the Quai des Bergues and Faubourg de Cracovie collections with more classical cases and dials.
