The Breguet Classique Grande Complications Repetition Minutes Rose Gold (ref. 7637BR/12/9ZU) is a men's dress watch with a 42 mm round case in rose gold. It has a silver dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by the hand-wound mechanical calibre 567/2 with a power reserve of 40 hours. Functions: 24-hour indication, repeater. Water-resistant to 30 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a folding clasp in rose gold.

This example is in mint condition, and comes with the original papers.

Caliber 567/2 is a hand-wound mechanical caliber with a minute repeater. It has gold gongs and carefully hand-finished bridges and mainplate.

ABOUT BRAND

Breguet was founded in Paris in 1775 by Abraham-Louis Breguet, one of the most influential watchmakers in history. He is credited with the tourbillon, patented in 1801, as well as the Breguet overcoil and the self-winding perpétuelle watch. Many of the house's design codes, such as Breguet hands, hand-turned guilloché dials and fluted case bands, go back to his workshop. The manufacture is now in the Vallée de Joux and belongs to the Swatch Group.

Collections include the Classique, the Marine, the Type XX aviation chronographs, the Tradition with its open-worked movements, the Héritage and the Reine de Naples for women, as well as complications ranging from tourbillons to alarm and calendar watches.
