The Breitling Colt Automatic Steel (ref. A17388101B1A1) is a men's sports watch with a 43 mm round case in stainless steel. It has a black dial under sapphire crystal.
It is powered by the self-winding mechanical calibre 17. Functions: Date. Water-resistant to 300 m. The watch is fitted with a Professional III strap with a folding clasp in steel.
This example is brand new, and comes with the original box and papers.
The Breitling 17 caliber is based on the ETA 2824-2 and is certified by the Swiss chronometer institute, COSC. It has automatic winding, runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and has proven a practical, reliable choice for sports watches.

Breitling was founded in 1884 by Léon Breitling in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, and later moved to Grenchen. The brand built its reputation on chronographs and instruments for aviation: it played an important part in developing the wrist chronograph with an independent pusher and introduced the Navitimer, with its slide-rule bezel for pilots, in 1952.
Today the main families are the Navitimer, the Chronomat with its rouleaux bracelet, the Superocean divers and the Avenger. The Professional line includes the Endurance Pro and the quartz Aerospace and Exospace B55 models, while the Aviator 8 and Super Chronomat (including the in-house B01 chronograph calibre) complete the range.
