The Tudor Black BAY 58 Blue Dial Steel Bracelet (ref. 79030B-0001) is a men's dive watch with a 39 mm round case in stainless steel. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal.

It is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement. Features: Luminescent markers, rotating bezel, snowflake hands, screw-down crown, COSC certification. Water-resistant to 200 m. The watch is fitted with a steel bracelet with side rivets with a folding clasp with safety catch in steel.

This example is in mint condition, and comes with the original box and papers.

The in-house MT5402 caliber was developed by the Kenissi manufacture specifically for compact Tudor cases. It has a silicon balance spring and a bidirectional winding rotor, and is officially COSC-certified as a chronometer.

ABOUT BRAND

The Tudor name was registered in 1926 on behalf of Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of Rolex, to offer watches with Rolex-standard reliability at a more accessible price. The company Montres Tudor SA was established in 1946, and the brand is based in Geneva. Tudor now uses its own manufacture movements in most of its collections and is known for its tool watches and vintage-inspired design.

The Black Bay, launched in 2012 and inspired by Tudor diving watches of the 1950s, is the main collection, with versions including the GMT, the chronograph with a “panda” dial and special editions. The Pelagos is a professional titanium diver's watch, while the 1926 and Royal lines offer simpler everyday models.
