The Daniel Roth 8-DAY Double FACE Tourbillon RUBY 1 of 2 Pieces made (ref. 197.X.60) is a men's dress watch with a 44 mm barrel case in rose gold. It has a black and gold dial under sapphire crystal.

It is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement. Functions: Tourbillon, power reserve indicator. Water-resistant to 30 m. The watch is fitted with an alligator leather strap with a pin buckle in rose gold.

This example is in perfect condition, dated 2024, and comes with the original box and papers.

Caliber DR 1307 is based on a high-grade automatic movement with an integrated instant-jump digital hour and a retrograde minute hand. It is designed to spread energy evenly when the display resets instantly.

Daniel Roth

ABOUT BRAND

Daniel Roth is a watchmaker who worked at Breguet before establishing his own brand in the Vallée de Joux in the late 1980s. The watches are recognised by their double-ellipse case and by complications such as tourbillons, perpetual calendars and chronographs. The brand was later part of Bulgari and was revived by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton in 2023.

Pieces typically found on the pre-owned market include the Masters chronograph, some fitted with the Zenith El Primero calibre, perpetual calendar chronographs with moon phase, skeleton chronographs and models from the Academic and Datomax lines.
