Jaeger-LeCoultre traces its origins to 1833, when Antoine LeCoultre opened a workshop in Le Sentier in the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland. The manufacture has developed more than a thousand calibres and produced movements for many other houses. Its best-known creations are the Reverso of 1931, with a case that turns over to protect the dial, and the Atmos clock, which runs on small changes in air temperature.
The Reverso is available in classic, Duetto (with a dial on each side) and complicated versions. The Master line covers dress watches such as the Master Ultra Thin, the Polaris is the brand's sports collection, and the Rendez-Vous focuses on ladies' watches, including the Celestial and Moon models. Atmos clocks are also part of the range.
