ABOUT BRANDIWC Schaffhausen, the International Watch Company, was founded in 1868 by the American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones, who set up his workshop on the Rhine in Schaffhausen in north-eastern Switzerland. The company is known for technical, engineered watches, the Pellaton automatic winding system, and its long association with pilot's watches.
