Tudor Pelagos

ABOUT COLLECTION

The Tudor Pelagos is the brand's professional diving line with a satin-finished titanium case. Unlike the Black Bay, which draws on vintage models from the mid-20th century, the Pelagos makes no attempt to look old. Instead it has a matt case without polished edges, a ceramic bezel insert and Snowflake hands, and all the watches here come on a titanium bracelet.

The core of the collection is the 42 mm case with date, helium escape valve and 500 m water resistance. The first Pelagos of 2012 (reference 25500TN) used a sourced movement. The 42 mm Pelagos with date offered here use the in-house calibre MT5612, with a silicon balance spring, COSC certification and a 70-hour power reserve. This applies to the Pelagos Titanium 42 mm (M25600TN-0001) with a black dial and the Pelagos Blue Dial (25600TB) with a blue one. In 2016 they were joined by the mirror-image Pelagos LHD with the crown on the left. The compact Pelagos 39 arrived in 2022, with calibre MT5400, 200 m water resistance and no date; it is represented here by the Pelagos Red Line 39mm (25407N). A separate military branch is the Pelagos FXD.

Choose by size and purpose. The 42 mm with helium valve is a full-fledged diving instrument. The 39 mm sits more easily on a smaller wrist and slips under a shirt cuff, and as well as on the bracelet it can be worn on a rubber strap. Dials are black or blue. Condition is given in each listing, from new watches still in their protective film to pieces with signs of wear.
