Qlocktwo Large

QLOCKTWO Large is a large word clock from the German brand QLOCKTWO: the time is shown not by hands but by words. The line is also known simply as Q2 Large. The front panel is a matrix of 110 letters. LEDs light up the relevant letters to form a phrase that tells the time in five-minute steps, and the minutes in between are shown by LED dots in the corners of the panel.

At 90 × 90 cm it is a substantial piece: the panel is hung on a wall or placed on a dedicated stand, so its spot needs to be chosen in advance, as for a painting. Versions differ in the finish of the front panel, which determines how the clock fits into an interior. One example is the Large Vintage Copper with a patinated copper panel.
