Jaeger-LeCoultre Master

Master is the line of round classic wristwatches from Jaeger-LeCoultre, a Swiss manufacture that develops its own calibres. The design is instantly recognisable: a round case with curved lugs, Dauphine hands, applied indices and a restrained, elegant dial. The Master family includes the ultra-thin Master Ultra Thin branch; Master Control, Master Compressor and Master Grand Réveil have their own collection pages.

Cases come in 18-carat rose and white gold and in stainless steel, from 36 to 42 mm. Dials are silver, or silvery white on the Master Twinkling Diamonds; the crystal is sapphire throughout and the strap leather. The sapphire caseback shows the in-house movement.

Within the collection, the choice is made first of all by complication. The Master Eight Days Perpetual is a perpetual calendar with a four-digit year display, moon phases and a day/night indicator. The Master Tourbillon and the Master Tourbillon – 1000 Hours combine a tourbillon with a second time zone and a jumping date. The Master Geographic shows world time: a second time zone and a disc with the names of 24 cities. The Master Twinkling Diamonds is a jewellery version set with baguette-cut diamonds.
