Lvcea is a line of women's watches from Bvlgari in a classic round case; on the models covered here the crown is decorated with a cabochon and a diamond. The name comes from the Latin word for light. The letter V in place of U follows the Latin tradition also behind the spelling BVLGARI. The case shape refers to the sundials of ancient Rome.
Within the line, models differ in metal, dial and attachment. The cases measure 33 mm and are made of 18-carat pink gold, with the bezel set with round brilliant-cut diamonds. There is also a combination case in stainless steel and pink gold. Dials come in three styles: blue aventurine; black with Soleil sunray guilloché and diamond hour markers; and a skeleton with bridges shaped like the letters of the logo. The gold models are worn on a pink gold bracelet or a blue leather strap, the steel-and-gold model on a two-tone bracelet. The crystal is sapphire, the caseback transparent, and the movement self-winding.
